Nollywood Diva, Tayo Sobola ‘Pops It’ As She Unveils New Business
Let us be the first to tell you
that Nollywood screen diva, Tayo Sobola otherwise known as Sotayo Gaga has
expanded her chain of businesses yesterday. The very industrious damsel, who is
number 2 if not number 1 richest Yoruba actress at the moment, unveiled her own
brand of lipstick called “Pop it”. Recall that, in one of our recent posts, we
reported that the actress will on Sunday 29 April 2018; stage a classy brand
exhibition of her new fashion outfit, “Clean Stitches”, with a lot of side
attractions at the Renaissance {Radisson Blu} GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. And
part of the side attractions was the unveiling of Pop It Cosmetics.
Speaking at the event, the Olabisi Onabanjo University graduate
stated that “my going into cosmetics business wasn’t because my fellow
colleagues are venturing into it. I have gotten the product for sometimes now,
but I was busy test running it before I release it into market. I want to also
experience the product so that when I face the public to talk, I will have
things to talk about.
I am not a fan of
competition; I am competing with no one, so there is no need to rush. It is not
about telling people you are the first to start a particular business, it is
about quality. I wear make ups and most times when I steps out, people always
commends my lipstick, asking for the name and where I got it from. At this
juncture, I was like this is the right time for me to unveil my Pop It
Cosmetics. There are lots of lipsticks you apply and within 10 minutes, you see
them breaking. Pop it is totally different from that. It is very affordable and
